Clay Anderwald

Clay Anderwald is a partner at Distance Brothers Transportation Services and plays an active role in the company’s continued growth and expansion. Working primarily behind the scenes, he helps develop new markets, supports website and digital development, assists with the infrastructure needed to launch operations in new areas, and helps grow the company’s tour and charter offerings.

Clay earned his degree in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and has built his career in the oil and gas industry. Outside of Distance Brothers, he oversees onsite drilling operations across Central Texas and the Brazos Valley, where safety, planning, efficiency, and attention to detail are critical to his work. He brings that same high standard and commitment to safety, organization, and continuous improvement to Distance Brothers.

As the company continues to expand beyond Corpus Christi, Clay is focused on helping Distance Brothers enter new markets while maintaining the dependable service, professionalism, and safety standards the company was built on.

Outside of work, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, Danika, and their three children, Colton, Dakota, and Demi. As a family, they enjoy being part of the Corpus Christi running community while cheering Colton on through his cross-country and track journey, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
